I was born into a family of musicians but largely abandoned the piano after childhood. Just a few years ago, when I was in my mid forties, I began to play again and learned that playing the piano, especially working on very difficult pieces, helped to manage stress and gave me a sense of accomplishment. Since rediscovering how helpful and enjoyable playing can be, I have spread my wings and frequently play my portable piano on the streets of New Westminister where I  live. I also incorporate piano playing in my role as a senior's companion, along with performing at both private and community events.  Now that I've gained confidence as a pianist, this feels like an appropriate time to formally advertise my services. ​​
